Purpose of the Role

We have been developing a suite of technology solutions for a number of years and require an enthusiastic, inquisitive, effective marketer to help develop and implement an effective content marketing strategy to communicate the product’s value to the marketplace.

In this crucial role, you will plan, create and publish relevant and engaging content for multiple channels – from in-depth thought leadership, articles and white papers, case studies, ads and advertorials, emails and social media content. You will also support in the creation of brochures, presentations, flyers and sales aids, to feed the Sales team.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing and Sales to understand the product and the market and to ensure the content plan and sales collateral supports our goals. You’ll relish getting under the skin of the business, to understand customer problems (and the ways in which are product solves them), in order to create content that gets to the heart of the matter and that is meaningful, relevant, insightful and of interest to our target audiences.

Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities

• Development of a strong, well researched, considered content strategy to drive awareness of CCL products and generate leads
• Implementation of effective content and marketing campaigns that brings results
• Crafting compelling copy articulating the value proposition
• Writing a range of sales collateral for the Sales team: brochures, sales aids, flyers
• Identifying and reacting to timely market opportunities to create insightful thought leadership content, in line with the business values and product positioning
• Researching and creating case studies that demonstrate reasons to believe in CCL’s technology
• Publishing and promotion of content on social media channels

Essential Skills

• 2-5+ years content marketing experience in a commercial environment, with a proven track record building content and campaigns that perform
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging content, powerful messages, and relevant stories for our target audiences
• Ability to adapt style and tone while crafting content to align with overall positioning, sales and marketing narrative
• Ability to critically evaluate performance of a campaign or individual content pieces and to take learnings to continually improve next time
• A good understanding of SEO
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timescales
• A self-motivated individual, enthusiastic and gets stuff done.
