People are at the heart of CCL. And as part of making sure everyone here is safe and well cared for, we’ve trained five First Aiders, ready to react to possible situations when we’re all at work. Recently we decided to take our responsibility further by investing in a defibrillator, which could potentially save someone’s life in the case of cardiac arrest.
However, rather than keeping this to ourselves, we’ve made it available to the whole local community. We’ve had it installed in a secure cabinet outside our premises. Now anyone locally calling 999 regarding a heart attack will be given the code to access the machine. They can then follow the step-by-step instructions until an ambulance arrives.
While we hope it’s rarely needed, we’re glad to provide this emergency first aid facility to our own and local businesses around us.
