Operating in the field or by phone, they are based at our branches in Troon, Bellshill, Derby and Aylesbury.
Business Development Managers work with prospects to deliver new business revenue to the group. Account Managers are responsible for a portfolio of existing customers, by ensuring revenue flow is maintained and the share of wallet increased.
Our teams of logistics specialists work directly with our customers to solve their logistics problems – searching our network for the best solutions, providing quotes and winning business. They give advice on costs, shipping, warehousing and packing, covering all of our road services.
Our dedicated customer service superstars care as much about each delivery as our customers do, proactively managing each shipment from collection to delivery and often resolving issues before end-customers even become aware.
This team helps customers with all their Air and Sea Freight requirements, providing services for importing, exporting and distribution throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.
Based across our Troon, Bellshill and Darby branches, the team has rapidly grown in the past 12 months.
Working closely with our Software Engineering Team, the Product Development Team designs and delivers our range of technology solutions.
Interpreting customer needs, investigating emerging trends and exploring market opportunities, the team designs new technology solutions and enhancements to our existing platform.
Ultimately the Product team is accountable for achieving the commercial results from our investment in technology.
Working closely with the Sales and Product teams, the Onboarding Team ensures a smooth process for new customers joining the CCL family, integrating our technology with their systems and finding answers to their logistics questions.
Then, once up and running, our Customer Success team are on hand to help, tackling any challenges that arise, and giving businesses tips on how to get the most out of our services and solutions.
This team is responsible for designing, building and managing our technology.
Our Software Engineers write the code that improves the efficiency and performance of both our own business operations and those of our customers.
This team includes CCL'ers from many disciplines: Developers, Testers, Database Specialists and Solution Architects.
Based in our Bellshill office, and working closely with the Product Team, our Software Engineers use Agile methodologies to schedule development work.
Our Finance Team is responsible for a wide range of day-to-day and strategic accounting activities, and is based in our Troon and Bellshill offices.
This team is responsible for credit control, purchase ledger and management accounting. They manage, check and track all our financial transactions.
The Finance team also creates operational and strategic performance reports, manages our VAT returns, runs the payroll for the group, and produces our monthly management accounts.
Based in our Bellshill office, our Marketing Team works across a broad range of online and offline communication channels, to build the CCL brand, promote our products and services, and generate leads for our Sales Team.
Based in our Bellshill office, this team is responsible for recruiting the talent that drives CCL forward.
They also manage the training and development, people policies and processes that build the CCL culture.
IT develops the business systems and tools that ensure CCL continues to deliver outstanding customer service and operate efficiently.
Currently based in our Bellshill office, our IT team supports CCL'ers in their work, whether working in the office or remotely.
